Abstract

The article deals with Internet comments with regard to their linguistic level and influence on the development of the modern Polish language. Topicality. The analyzed factual material is an important visualization during language learning in the student environment of the Polonist direction. We classify the elaborated Polish-language comments as colloquial and journalistic styles, which significantly expand the language palette of a beginner Polish scholar. Goal. The article outlines the language level of Polish comments distributed on the Internet and the suitability of their elements for the methodical development of a Polish language
lesson in an academic space. This includes lectures and practical classes for Polonist majors, as well as courses in Polish as a foreign language for other specialized areas in institutions of professional and higher education.

Results. Special attention is paid to the genre components of Polish Internet comments, which include the communicative situation and intention, topic, author and addressee, as well as ontological and formal aspects of the expression of thought. A
significant place is occupied by the emotional factor, modification of traditional etiquette forms, stylistic innovation, punctuation inaccuracies, subjectivity of statements, etc. In view of these factors, as well as the derivative character (dependence on the main text or on another comment), dialogicity, situationality and short-term existence of the Internet comment, it must be studied as a specific electronic linguistic phenomenon, clearly separated from other understandings on the border of genres.

Conclusions. The main advantage of Internet comments is the currentness of language structures, which will be useful to students in conversations with Polish speakers and will help them understand those linguistic elements that are not found in academic publications. Therefore, in the style of comments, you need to pay attention to their local, metaphorical and emotional nature - with positive or negative connotations, modified sentence forms, stable word combinations, elements of Polish slang, etc. The disadvantage of the lexical stock of comments on the network is vulgarisms that litter the language. All these aspects must be taken into account when choosing visual material for work in Polish language classes.
