Volyn Philological: text and context

The following components of the article are required, in order:

UDK (ISBN) (on the left edge, font size 12)

The author’s name and surname (on the right edge, font size 12, bold)

Title of the article (centered, font size 14, bold)

Abstract in Ukrainian (at least 1800 characters) (on width, font size 12, interline spacing1). The abstract should reproduce, but not repeat verbatim, the text of the article and contain the following structural elements: purpose, research methodology (or theoretical framework), results, conclusions.

Keywords (a word combination is considered as one unit) – from 5 to 10 – in Ukrainian (on width, font size 12, interline spacing1).

The text of the research paper must contain the following structural blocks:

Introduction (formulation of the scientific problem, analysis of the research into the problem, including the latest research (2-3 years ago) with mandatory citation, definition of the goal and tasks);
Research methodology or Theoretical framework(depending on the nature of the research - more empirical or theoretical; substantiation of standpoint on the phenomenon under study, research strategies, etc.)
Statement regarding the basic material of the research (justification of the results obtained;clarification of the conceptual provisions, discussions, debates);
Scientific novelty(new approaches in interpreting the material under the study and original solution to the problem as compared to the previous research findings;
Conclusions(brief summaries and prospects for further research).

The text must be printed in font size 14, interline spacing 1,5.

Literature used (on width, font size 12, interline spacing1).

References (on width, font size 12, interline spacing1).

Abstract in English (at least 1800 characters) (on width, font size 12, interline spacing1).

Keywords (a word combination is considered as one unit) – from 5 to 10 units – in English (on width, font size 12, interline spacing1).

Article format	A4, Microsoft Word DOC (1997-2007 design) or DOCX form. Documents should not be locked or protected.
Layout and spacing	All margins – 2 sm.
Font	Times New Roman
Text alignment	on width
Indenting paragraphs	1,25 см (please do not indent with the Tab key and space characters)
Page numbering	Do not number
Bibliographic references	Citations and references to sources should be made in the ARA style (Моклиця, 2017; Межов & Мельник, 2020; Mezhov, Navalna & Kostusiak, 2020; Smith et al., 2020); the page of the cited work should be given via a colon (Koloshuk, 2019: 25). The author or the name/title of the source of illustrative material should be given in round brackets (T. Shevchenko).
Notes	Subscript notes, made automatically (numbered by pages), font size 10 pt.
Article length	From 12 to 24 pages of A4 format, formatted according to the general requirements

Be sure to distinguish between hyphens (-) and dashes (–) and the use of quotation marks in the following format: «» («text»). Contracted forms such as etc., initials by surnames (e.g, I.I.Petrenko), page references (p.34), the letter suffixes in ordinal numbers (such as 80s, 2nd) are to be printed without indentation (by pressing Ctrl +Shift +spacebar).

Illustrative material should be printed in italics, and the emphasized concepts or terms should be printed in bold italics (underlining is not allowed).

Description algorithm in Latin: author (use transliteration, indicate all co-authors; in the case of a translated edition, the name of the author should be given in its original version in Latin), the title of the article (book) must be transliterated, with the following translation of the title of the article (book) in English in square brackets, the name of the source (transliteration), source data (the place (city) of publication should be given in English, the language of the cited work in brackets, for example: (in Ukrainian), (in Polish), (in German).
