Abstract

Yuri Kosach has been considered as a controversial
person despite considerable creative work and a glorious ancestry. The story was
written as a ideological and modern work and connect with the philosophy and
ideology of the AUM period.
The article is devoted to the theme of the functionality of the dialogues in the
story of Yurii Kosach «Enei and life of other». Attention paid to the personality of
the writer, and especially to the work of the AUM period, which reflected the author's
search for national identity. The author tried to «imagine» and create several options
for finding a national identity in the special conditions of isolation from the
Motherland. Thus, the national identity for the heroes of the story becomes one of the
central principles of existence.
Structure of different model of dialogues is investigated using several tactics:
variety on the structure of the question / answer, according to the language
composition, in terms of vocabulary, morphology and syntax. Dialogues perform
various functions, including the different sides characteristic of characters, creating
the effect of presence for the reader. The topic of the study is the chosen dialogues
and the direct speech of characters as spokespersons of the author's quest for the
merger of diverse points of view into discourse of the art into a single idea.
The structure of various models of dialogues in Kosach is due to the intention
of the author. At the same time, they, like the direct language of the story, are
intentionally densely inserted in the text in order to transfer the integrity of life.
The language of works of different periods of Yuriy Kosach's activity is, in our
opinion, not enough researched yet, therefore, it seems promising to continue work in
this direction.
