Dualism of the scientific and artistic thinking of Franciszek Rawita-Gawronski

Abstract

Dualistic character of the scientific and artistic thinking of work of the Polish historian, writer of epoch of positivism and publicist Franciszek Rawita-Gawronski is analysed in the article. Dualism in works of ХІХ century and contradiction are investigated in the looks of author. Basic determinations of the artistic and scientific thinking are systematized, myth and prose of ХІХ century in work of Polish positivisms. In aspiring to connection of the scientific and artistic thinking authors at times lo st control and the determined locations in works grew to the role of myth through piling up rou nd them valuesmythical, if they were used by literature. Myth as means of transmissi on of the educed true have universal character and performs the duty to the thinking s tandard that allows to cognize reality. Thus it was very important to save a scientific look to the problem.
